Taxation

We The People should keep the fruits of our labor. Taxation, while necessary to fund only the most essential government functions, should be limited in scope and size to prevent excessive government growth and to protect individual liberty. I oppose all efforts to use taxes as a method for social engineering or to redistribute wealth from one group of working Americans to a group of non-working Americans. This is socialism and smacks of communism. Ultimately, I believe that individuals and businesses must be free to keep their own money, which encourages entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic growth.

I cling to the premise that “Taxation is Theft.” This seems like an unhinged catch phrase. However, when you discover a lot of your tax dollars pay for trips, parties, special projects, and private business subsidies, then “TAXATION IS THEFT” doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
